- For U.S. and Canadian Citizens, you must have a passport that is valid 6 months beyond your day of departure from Ecuador. There is no tourist required for stays less than 90 days. - Travel insurance is required when visiting the Galapagos Islands. It is a condition of traveling with SA Expeditions that you have suitable travel insurance to safeguard against unexpected expenses related to trip cancelation or trip interruptions. See Terms & Conditions for more information. - Visitors to the Galapagos Islands must pay a national park entrance fee, which is currently $100 per person ($50 for those <11 years old). This can either be included in your package or paid upon arrival at the airport. - Upon arrival to the Galapagos, all travelers will be required to have a Transit Control Card (or Ingala Card), which will be included in your package and given to you in-person prior to your flight to the islands. - There are no specific vaccinations required to enter Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands.
